Our Story
InformiX Pharma began life in 2016 as INFORM2020, an academic-industrial collaborative programme that set out to answer a single question: could micro‑X‑ray Computed Tomography unlock useful, three‑dimensional insight for inhalation powders?
Five years and dozens of conference invitations later, the answer was a resounding “yes”. The sheer enthusiasm shown by scientists and regulators at events such as Respiratory Drug Delivery Europe and Drug Delivery to the Lungs convinced us to turn our research group into a specialist contract‑research organisation. In 2023 we launched InformiX Pharma, one of the world’s only CRO dedicated to micro‑XCT for pharmaceutical applications. Today we work with partners ranging from global pharmaceutical companies to agile biotech start‑ups, delivering the data they need to make safer, better products—faster.
